Sierra Leone Background

Sierra Leone, a country of about six million people, was a small British colony in West Africa that gained its independence in 1961. Since then it has experienced great instability, ravished by diseases like Ebola, malaria, cholera and trypanosomiasis, and decimated by a decade of brutal civil war in the 1990s. To help ameliorate such obstacles to development and initiate sustainable advancement, TMP is committed to supporting local communities in their autonomous efforts to create stable economies and educational opportunities.

Magic Penny Song Lyrics

By Malvina Reynolds

Love is something if you give it away
give it away
give it away
Love is something if you give it away
You’ll end up having more

It’s just like a magic penny
Hold it tight and you wont’ have any
Lend it, spend it, and you’ll have so many
They’ll roll all over the floor

Love is something if you give it away
Give it away
Give it away
Love is something if you give it away
You’ll end up having more
